Hello my name is Mason I am 12 years old.

I am trying to raise money for cancer awareness. Recently I spent a night in hospital feeling terrible. While I was in there I walked past multiple people that looked absolutely miserable. We have some really close family friends who had spent countless hours in the same hospital beating leukemia. It made me think…Looking back on it I realize as bad as I felt there are always people worse off than me and in need of help.

I have decided to shave my head to show respect and hope to raise some money to beat this horrible disease. My ultimate goal is to raise $1000 (none of it will be profited for me.)

PS from Mason's dad... he's raised a bit of money already, and has shaved his head as many will have seen.  Mason wants to donate to the Cancer Council - we'll send in whatever he's raised on 17th of May.
