Last night, Gene Ferguson was suddenly given his angel wings. Gene was only 51 years old. Unfortunately with no life insurance, he leaves behind my mom, Pam Ferguson, married for 26 years, his son, Howard Ferguson and his mother, Mercedes. My mother has worked at Wal-Mart for several years but do not have the income to cover the expenses that would be needed.
Gene was on the Kirklin Fire Department for many many years. He Recently joined the Sheridan Fire Department. He dedicated his life to helping/saving others. He did not know a stranger and would help anyone he could when he could. He gave anyone anything that he could. Gene also was always helping the citters. Took care and loved homeless dogs, cats and bunnies. He was a softy for life of anything.
Gene was THE MOST WONDERFUL GRANDFATHER. He loved spending time with all 5 grandkids (4 mine,1bubby's). He had his own special bond with each one of them.
