Janet’s Journey
A warrior’s fight to win..... All warriors need help from time to time to fight, to push on, and to win!
Meet Janet Glanville and her family: Husband; Jeremy Daughters…. Emeila, Isabelle, and Breanna.
When Janet was 5 months pregnant with Breanna, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following traditional treatments and refusing to give up or give in, the Warrior’s Battle began!
We have seen her fight with great success now for many years, and when Janet was first diagnosed, I remember her saying, “Mom, cancer is a part of my life…. it’s not my life.” I can say, cancer has never been the focus of her life. Her relationship with The Lord, her husband, and children have been her focus. The last couple years have brought a lot of changes for many people everywhere. A major change for the Glanville family has been the onset of seizures and continuing diagnosis of cancer, metastasizing through out her body. Janet has had to give up homeschooling her three girls, her ability to drive, sight in her eye, and the ability to do everyday things we all take for granted. Jeremy is presently stepping back from the business they have together to be better able to help Janet.
2020 was particularly hard as it has become difficult for Janet to do basic everyday tasks, but she has not given up or given in. Despite having a serious seizure on Mother’s Day, and even though the Doctors said she would not leave the hospital, Janet walked out of the hospital on her own. In June Janet had a Pulmonary Embolism, again being told she would not recover. In September she had a stroke, which has left her arm and leg weakened. Janet is losing the vision in her right eye due to the cancer spreading in her skull.
This Warrior is fighting hard and strong-…however, she needs help in the fight, she needs help to push on, and help to win! Besides continuing traditional treatment, Janet has sought the help of a naturopath and pharmaceutical grade supplements along with having to see specialists, however these things are not covered by insurance. She also follows a diet with foods that help her body to fight against the cancer.
The medical expenses are growing along with the expense of meeting the daily needs of a family, renting special chairs that make it easier for her to sit with the family for dinner and shower. The Glanville Family could use your help if you are able. If you would like to help this warrior to fight, to push on and Win The Battle, please consider donating. Any amount you are able to contribute is deeply appreciated. We are setting a goal of $25,000.
