My name is Amal Chehayeb. I’m raising funds to help with the cost of feeding, spaying & neutering, as well as sheltering over 300 dogs in Aley, Lebanon.

A group of volunteers began rescuing stray dogs when many were found shot or poisoned by unknown perpetrators. The municipality refused to apply laws passed by the government for the protection of animals

This group of volunteers is collecting stray dogs and placing them in a secure area where they will be treated until they are fostered, adopted , or live out their natural life. The plan is to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) all animals in order to control the dog population while looking after them humanely.

The current shelter is temporary, and a permanent shelter is required. Feeding the animals costs US85.00$ a day. Treating them for ailments and neutering requires support.

Your donations would help bring an end to the needless suffering of these beings while keeping the streets of Aley safe for pedestrians. Sheltering the dogs would control their population, as well as provide the citizens of Aley with quieter streets and alleys.
