Recovering from a Hit-and-Run
Donation protected
Today I was the victim of a hit-and-run. I'm fine, but this has put me in a financial crisis. An eyewitness got the tags from the car, so they will have to contend with their insurance now!
As a rideshare driver, without my car, I can't earn income. I only have enough saved up for one week more for my lodging. To get back on the road, I'll need at least $500, maybe more if this unemployment stretches further.
This isn't the first financial crisis this year for me. This way of living has been inherently unstable. I've been working long hours for very little pay. I've been working on transitioning out. In fact, I started a tech bootcamp two weeks ago!
I've already applied to theme park jobs immediately; they are hiring. And I have a job interview in two weeks. In the interim, I need to figure out living expenses, etc.
