Help Me Smile Again
On Friday the 10th of July I had an accident which lead to me losing and halving my front left tooth. I tripped over a step and fell into a lamppost in Sheffield city centre. I was sober at the time. I had emergency dental surgery and the surgeon put my tooth into place. However, only half of it is there and it is very likely the tooth will die anyway.
I am a recent graduate looking for work and I now have no confidence to sell myself in an interview. My teeth were my one source of constant confidence. I currently cannot look at myself in the mirror, talk to people without wearing a mask, and I am fearful of video calls.
Currently, due to COVID-19, NHS dentists are only doing emergency dentistry. This means I cannot get my tooth fixed on the NHS until as late as next year. I can’t put my career on hold for that long. Therefore, I am seeking private treatment. As the tooth will likely die, and the root isn’t intact, I will need an implant. Implants start from £2400 in the UK. I’m asking for £1000 as I should be able to find the rest.
By donating you would be helping me regain my confidence, so I can start my career. I would be so grateful for any donation.

Hopefully with your help I’ll be fixed and smiling once more.
