Support Brandon's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Every family has that one person, the one who the spotlight is always shining on , whose smile lights up the room and whose mere presence is sure to ignite and spread laughter like wild fire. For our family that person is Brandon. He is the first to offer a helping hand, supporting and putting others before him, all with grace and positivity. He is a hard working family man, a doting husband and father of two beautiful little girls. A true girl dad in all of his glory.
On Wednesday September 18th the devoted husband and best girl dad received the news no one wants to receive, a brain tumor. In those moments, that shine dulled just a little and the space around us all was a little more quiet. We waited, prayed, and remained strong and positive.
On October 2nd Brandon will go in for surgery and have the brain tumor removed and sent to pathology and we wait, wait for the prognosis of this and what next steps are. He will spend time in the ICU followed by a few more days in the hospital and possible time in a rehab depending on how the surgery goes. There remains a lot of “what ifs” during this time, so while we wait, we remain positive. Soaking up family time, with laughter and praying that soon this is all just a distant memory.
What we do know is that this is going to be a long and tedious journey, with lots of appointments and recovery times, oh and brain surgery. Brandon will be out of work while he recovers for right now an undetermined amount of time. Amanda will need to be there not only to take care of the girls but to take care of Brandon as well.
My family and I are asking that if you can, please donate. Help this young family in whatever way you can to support in easing just the littlest bit of financial burden while they face what I can only imagine is the scariest time in their lives.
