A local tragedy has left a beloved member of our community in Ballyheigue in a horrible situation. In a matter of moments,a lifetime of memories, comfort, and security was destroyed.

Thankfully, she made it out safely thanks to the courage of locals.

This woman is known in our town for her warmth, her generosity, and her resilience. Whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or a gentle smile, she’s touched the lives of many over the years. Now it’s our turn to give back.

Every donation — no matter how small — makes a real difference. If you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this page with your network. Together, we can help give her a safe, warm place to call home again.

Let’s show her that her community is here for her — that she’s not alone in this.

With heartfelt thanks,

The people of Ballyheigue
