On behalf of our Rock Community Fire family, our Assistant Chief's family is facing an unexpected and life-changing challenge. Their 31-year-old son, Charlie, has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a fast-moving and aggressive form of blood cancer. What began as unexplained symptoms quickly became a devastating diagnosis that has turned his world upside down.

Charlie is now undergoing intensive treatment, which includes extended hospital stays, chemotherapy, and ongoing medical care. While the family is grateful for the incredible doctors and the hope treatment brings, the financial burden is very challenging. Medical bills, medications, and daily living expenses have added up quickly, especially as he is unable to work during this time. He is a resident medical doctor whose graduation has been delayed by this illness.

Charlie is a kind and empathetic person who has dedicated his life to helping others. Now he needs support as he focuses entirely on fighting this disease and healing.
