Help Me Represent Canada

Hi everyone,

My name is Khalin Radev, and I’m proud to say that I’m the 2025 U20 Canadian National Champion in the 65kg wrestling category.

Winning gold at the Canadian Nationals was a dream come true. This is the result of years of hard work, early mornings, intense training, and support from my coaches, teammates, and family. But the journey isn’t over yet.

Because of this win, I’ve been given the honour to represent Canada at the U20 Pan American Wrestling Championships in Lima, Peru, this July (10–13). If all goes well, I’ll also have the chance to compete at the U20 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, my family’s homeland, later this summer.

However, there is always a challenge:

These international tournaments are self-funded (travel, accommodation, food, gear, and tournament fees).

I’m doing my best to juggle school and training, but I can’t make this trip on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for your support.

Why I’m Asking for Help:

Wrestling has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to fight for what matters on and off the mat. Representing Canada at the Pan Ams means everything to me. It’s more than a competition. It’s a chance to show what’s possible when there is passion.
