Fatima Amara

Just under 2 weeks ago my mother Fatima Amara passed away in her bed at our home. My mother was loved by so many. She was generous, loving & funny; no favour you asked was ever too big or too small. She was selflessly giving and always went the extra mile to help everyone.
Today, many of you remember her as the lovely, strong & hilarious little woman that was always the life of the party despite her endless ongoing health conditions. I’d like to take mum back home, to my grandparents house in BO,Sierra Leone and although she made a comfortable home in the UK for almost 40years, she still made it her duty to be an active and generous member of her Sierra Leonean community, as-well as the head of her family as the eldest sibling.

Fatima now leaves behind me, her only child. As you can imagine, her passing is extremely painful for me, however I am working tirelessly to give her the perfect final place of rest. However, I am currently struggling to do so as I have only just finished paying for my fathers gravestone. I am never one to speak on my private affairs but my mum was so popular, she will truly be missed. Now that both of my parents are deceased, I am asking for support from the communities around both myself and my mother. Please donate whatever you can.
