የጣና ቤተሰብ ስኮላርሺፕ በላቀ የትምህርት ውጤታቸውና በቤተሰብ ገቢ ሁኔታቸው የተመረጡ ታዳጊ ተማሪዎችን ውጤታማ እንዲሆኑ የሚያግዝ፣ ሴት ተማሪዎችን በልዩ ሁኔታ የሚያበረታታና ለአካል ጉዳተኛ ተማሪዎችም እገዛ የሚያደርግ ፕሮግራም ነው።
ላለፉት ስምንት ዓመታት ባካሄዳቸው ስምንት የድጋፍ ማሰባሰቢያ መርሀ ግብሮች፡ ከቀድሞ የጣና ሐይቅ ተማሪዎች እና ደጋፊዎች በተደረገ ድጋፍ፦
- ከ232 በላይ ተማሪዎችን በየወሩ በወጪ ደግፏል።
- ከ2100 በላይ ለሆኑ ሴት ተማሪዎች ወርሃዊ ንጽህና መጠበቂያ በየወሩ አቅርቧል።
- ከ40 በላይ ዓይነስውራን ተማሪዎችን የሚያግዙ ድምፅ መቅጃዎችን አቅርቧል።
- ወደ ዩንቨርሲቲ ለሚገቡ ተማሪዎች የዝግጅት ወጪን ሸፍኗል።
- የኮምፒውተር ላብራቶሪዎችን የኔትወርክና ኤሌክትሪክ ዝርጋታ በባለሙያ አሥሰርቷል።
- ለሴት ተማሪዎች መፀዳጃ ቤት ሥራ የገንዘብና የማማከር ድጋፍ አድርጓል።
- እንዲሁም የመምህራን ማረፊያ ክፍል እድሳት እና አዲስ ሎከሮችን አዘጋጅቷል።
- የቤተመጽሐፍት ወንበሮች ድጋፍና የመጠጥ ውሃ ማጠራቀሚያ (water tank) አቅርቧል።
በተጨማሪም በተለያዩ ጊዜያት የመጽሐፍ ማሰባሰብና የፅዳት ዘመቻዎችን አስተባብሯል። ሁሉም ሥራዎች የተሳኩት ግን ይህን በጎ ዓላማ ሰምተው በደገፉ ብዙ የተባበሩ እጆች እንደሆነ እናምናለን።
ባለፉት ዙሮች በነበረው ተሳትፎ ከቀድሞ ተማሪዎች በተጨማሪ ሁሉም በጎ አሳቢ ኢትዮጵያውያንና ጉዳዩን ከወዳጆቻቸው የሰሙ የውጭ ሀገር ዜጎችም ጭምር መሳተፋቸውን አይተናል። በመጪው የ2018 ዓ/ም የትምህርት ዓመትም የቀድሞ ተማሪዎች ሕብረት ይህን በጎ ሥራ ለማስቀጠል ከዚህ በታች ያለውን ዕቅድ አውጥቶ በየዓመቱ የሚያደርገውን የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ መርሃ ግብር ጀምሯል። እንዲሳተፉና ለወዳጆችዎም እንዲያጋሩ ድጋፍ በሚደረግላቸው ተማሪዎች ስም ጥሪ እናስተላልፋለን።
በዚህ ለ9ኛ ጊዜ በሚደረገው “የጣና ቤተሰብ ስኮላርሽፕ” ድጋፍ የሚከተሉትን 5 ዕቅዶች ለማከናወን ታስቧል፦
- በትምህርት ውጤትና በቤተሰብ ገቢ ሁኔታ የተመረጡ 36 ተማሪዎችን በወጪ ማገዝ። ይህም ማለት ለእያንዳንዳቸው ከመስከረም እስከ ሰኔ በወር 1000 ብር መደጎም። ለዚህ ተግባር የሚያስፈልገው ወጪ፦ 10 ወር × 36 ተማሪዎች × 1000ብር=360,000 ብር ይሆናል።
- እገዛ ለሚያስፈልጋቸው 800 ሴት ተማሪዎች የንጽህና መጠበቂያ (Sanitary Pads) ለአንድ ዓመት ማቅረብ። ለዚህ ተግባር የሚያስፈልገው ወጪ 300,000 ብር ይሆናል።
- ለ5 ዓይነ ስዉራን ተማሪዎች ለትምህርታቸው የሚረዳ የድምፅ መቅጃ መሳሪያ መግዛት። ለዚህ ተግባር የሚያስፈልገው ወጪ 35,000 ብር ይሆናል።
- ወደ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተመድበው ለሚገቡ እገዛ ለሚያስፈልጋቸው ተማሪዎች ድጋፍ ማድረጊያና እና ለጣና ቤተሰብ ስኮላርሺፕ ተማሪዎች ህክምና መጠባበቂያ በጀት ማቅረብ። ለዚህ ተግባር የታቀደው የብር መጠን 150,000 ብር ይሆናል።
- የህብረቱን ስራዎች ባህር ዳር ላይ ለሚሰራ ጸሐፊ የዓመት ደሞዝ ማቅረብ። ለዚህ የሚያስፈልገው ወጪከመስከረም እስከ ነሐሴ 4000 ብር ×12 ወር= 48,000 ብር ይሆናል።
በድምሩ 893,000 ብር የሚገመት ወጪ በማድረግ እነዚህን ሥራዎች ለማሳካት ታቅዷል፡፡ እስካሁን ባለፉት 8 ዙሮች የነበረው የተማሪዎች እገዛ የተሳካው ይህን በጎ ሥራ የሰሙና የወደዱ ሁሉ ባደረጉት ያላሰለሰ የገንዘብ፣ የሃሳብ እንዲሁም የጉልበት ድጋፍ ነው፡፡ በመሆኑም የእዚህን ዓመት ዘጠነኛ ዙር በተሻለ ሁኔታ ለማሳካት ጥሪ ስናቀርብ ድጋፋችሁ እንደማይለየን በመተማመን ነው። (ከዚህ በፊት በጣና ቤተሰብ ስኮላርሽፕ የታገዙና ዩንቨርሲቲ የገቡ ተማሪዎችን አስተያየት በYouTube ገፃችን ለማየት ይህንን ይጫኑ)

About Tana Haik Alumni Network & it's Scholarship Programs
In the year 2012, a few former-students who lived in Ethiopia and abroad volunteered to work together for the cause of giving back to their former school, Tana Haik and the community. They established the alumni group with a vision: “Together, we can make a difference to bring a bright future for students in our community!”. It was launched by supporting the school through providing furniture and Internet service to the Library, and organizing donation of books. In just a few years, alumni from all over the world shared the vision and expanded dimension of the support to students and the school. Currently, there are alumni members from various batches and non-alumni volunteers participating in annual fundraisers and campaigns to support current 'Tana Haik High School' students. The support to students is provided annually in 4 formats:
1. Tana Family Scholarship (TFS)
A total of 36 students are selected annually based on academic performance & socio-economic status. And these students are given a monthly stipend or financial support throughout the academic year. The stipend is mainly used by students for study & living costs.
2. Sanitary Napkins to Female Students
Female students are provided free sanitary napkins at the school throughout the academic year. Currently the annual number of students supported has reached 800.
3. Special Support to Disabled Students
Currently special voice recorders are provided annually to sight Impaired students.
4. Financial Support to Students Joining College
Selected number of students who newly join college are provided with one time financial support. The grant helps students with initial costs required to join college.
