Gene Johnson, Carol Johnson's Husband

Our beloved colleague, friend, and coworker, Carol Johnson, lost the love of her life, Gene Johnson, her husband for over 34 years on October 23 due to complications from open heart surgery. Please help us raise funding to aid Carol during this most difficult time.

Both she and Gene have been long supporters, volunteers, and coworkers for Winston-Salem Festival Ballet, High Point Ballet, Gary Taylor Dance, and Imagine Youth Theater and the arts in general. They could be seen together at productions, festivals, and events spreading their humor and expertise to all. Both retirees, Gene and Carol have had long careers in the arts. Carol retired in 2022 from the organizations and has since returned part time and needs all the support possible for upcoming expenses associated with Gene's passing and medical needs.
