Help Bill Pay His Bills

My dad, Bill, was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year, and had surgery to get the tumors removed. After that, it was a long wait on pins and needles for the pathology report to tell us if they'd gotten it all.

Spoiler Alert: They did not get it all. It spread to his back muscle and after other treatments were unsuccessful, the doctor determined that he needed to have his bladder removed. The surgery is scheduled for August 13th, 2020.

While he has health insurance through his job, it does not cover everything. He has also had to be off work while undergoing treatment and went through what little sick time he had, and he will have to be off work for 4-6 weeks after the surgery. He has a wife and two small children living at home, and they need some help making ends meet.  Any little bit will help. The bills are piling up and we haven't seen the worst yet, as the bills for the surgery are forthcoming. They are at risk of losing their house.

My father is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, as those of you who've met him know. He has opened our doors to people down on their luck more times than I can remember. He has helped raise dozens of children, only a small portion of which were ever his legal responsibility.  Heck, he even has coworkers who call him 'Dad'. He is a wonderful human being with a big heart. He has done so much to help other people through both grand gestures and small kindnesses.
