Support Fund for Anusha

This gofundme page is being started on behalf of Cassandre and her 14-year-old daugher Anusha. Anusha was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in her ovaries and is undergoing chemo. Below is their story...

'Hi, my name is Cassandre and Anusha is my 14-year-old daughter. We are originally from New Caledonia. I have been living in NZ for a few years, and after two years of being separated because of COVID, Anusha was able to join me this year for three months in New Zealand. By the end of July 2022, right after she flew back to New Caledonia, Anusha experienced excruciating pain in her stomach and was immediately admitted to the hospital. I left life in NZ and flew to New Cal to be with her . From there, we were transferred to Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney where we have been ever since.

Anusha was diagnosed with a malignant tumour on the ovaries that needed to be removed ASAP and treated with Chemotherapy. She has had her surgery & has started her chemotherapy treatment which should last at least four months. During the second chemo cycle, some complications arose and she had to have a surgical intervention on the intestine. Thank God she is recovering well.

Although we are blessed to have good medical insurance and many charities such as AVEC association, Redkite or Kids with cancer foundation that help us and provide support and care packs, life here in Sydney is expensive. I am a single mother and my paid sick leave ended in August. Not being able to provide while bills still need to be paid during this challenging time is overwhelming. I am asking for your generosity to help us; help me help her conquer this villain with dignity and love without the stress of not being able to work or provide. Anusha is sweet, fun, loving, and kind. She loves animals, walks in nature, sealife and music.

Any money raised will be used for ongoing and remaining bills, medical surcharges, transport, food, and it would also partly help me offer her a life she can still enjoy while going through all this.
Her dearly loved brother Arnaud, 17, will join us at some point to spend time with us. We might go on a trip to watch whales, visit some animal parks... whatever could help her get out of this hospital environment, help us breathe & do life. Thank you for your love and support, even if it is just for passing it on. Please keep safe & stay blessed. Much love.'

Prayers are the most powerful way to help right now, but if you could donate any amount to this beautiful family, I know it would help them in many ways.
