Help the Taylor family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer Taylor. Most of our friends and family are familiar with the recent tragedies we’ve experienced lately. For those of you who aren’t, please allow me to tell you a bit of our story. On January 25, 2022 our lives were changed forever. My 18 year old son was involved in a horrific automobile accident. He was subsequently declared brain dead and removed from life support after his final act of heroism, donating his organs. Still reeling from his death, on March 10, we were once agin dragged to the depths of despair. Blake’s dad, my husband, Brad Taylor, was involved in yet another horrific car accident on his way to work. And just because we needed one more thing to go wrong, I was involved in a 3 car pileup on my way to the hospital, totaling my truck. I very gratefully, survived with minimal injuries. Brad was not so lucky. Among many other injuries, he sustained 4 breaks in his neck. He is now paralyzed with minimal movement and has been hospitalized since the accident. He was just moved to a rehab facility where he can hopefully regain enough strength to sit in a wheelchair.
our hope is for him to come home after his stay at the rehab facility, but we are grossly unprepared. I feel like I’m drowning. I’m already a caregiver to a medically fragile child and will soon be his caregiver, as well. We haven’t even fully paid for our son’s headstone ($4600 remaining balance) and now we have a list of things to buy that we simply can’t afford. We’ll need a wheelchair, as well as a ramp built on to our house. Our only remaining vehicle isn’t appropriate for him to be able to get in and out of. I haven’t been able to visit him in the hospital very often because we’re trying to be as frugal as possible, and gas prices just won’t allow it. We also have 3 other children at home.
We are asking for you, if you find it in your heart, to make any donation, big or small. If you are unable to donate monetarily, please keep us in your prayers as we navigate this difficult season of our lives. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, God bless.
