Hello everyone;

Malik is an accomplished coach in Maryland.  Field hockey and coaching is his passion, and he has done a phenomenal job training and molding young kids to be come very good players in his club, Malik Stars. The kids are not only very good, they also love the game, and it shows in the way they play. His passion is contagious.

He is also a member of our club, the dcDragons.

To pursue his passion, and to support his family, my friend, Malik, had a small business in the city of Baltimore. Unfortunately, his shop was destroyed during the recent riots in city. Not only did he lose his source of income, but the building itself was burnt. Now he will have  to find a new location and rebuild his business from scratch. Insurance will only cover the cost of goods destroyed. An innocent victim, in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Please help Malik get through this rough patch. No donation is too small. Many have conveyed their sympathies. Here is a chance to make a more concrete gesture. It will be much appreciated. The money raised will be given to Malik to use to cover his expenses in the coming weeks, and for whatever else he needs to rebuild.
