Hi, my name is Aaliyah. I currently am a Social Work major at Longwood University. As part of my studies, I want to gain international experience. I have been accepted into a study abroad program at Longwood, that is going to allow me to go to Ghana for 13 days. During this trip, I will be engaged in many cultural experiences and I will be hands-on working with vulnerable populations in Ghana. This study abroad experience will also allow me to learn hands-on skills that I will use in my career later on and give me ample opportunities to gain new leadership skills. I am asking for a total of 5,100 dollars to cover the program fees, tuition, and any other miscellaneous costs that will also be a part of this trip, such as acquiring a passport. Every donation helps me make this goal more achievable, and I appreciate anything you are willing to give.
