As most of you have heard, Trevor suffered a gunshot wound in August. The gun was in his pocket and misfired resulting in a gunshot to his chin and exiting through his forehead. EMT and Hospital staff worked miraculously to put him into a medical coma and slow the bleeding enough to transport him by  helicopter to University of Alabama in Mobile where they worked tirelessly to stabilize him. After several long hours we were flown by jet to University of Alabama in Birmingham where Trevor underwent several long surgeries and facial reconstructions. He has defied all odds and will come out of this with a few scars. After a month in the ICU we are able to leave the hospital and just go back for regular check ups and monthly procedures.

We appreciate all of the prayers we have received for Trevor in this time of need. The doctors and nurses have done an outstanding job and we will forever be grateful to them for saving Trevor’s life. The outpouring love from family members and friends has helped push us forward in this journey of healing. At this point, we are now asking for help with hospital bills and help getting back to Texas. Anything is appreciated and we hope to see everyone soon.
