Teyan O McCoy Life Celebration Event❤️

On January 13, 2023, Teyon Ornail McCoy, a standout basketball player, was recruited for a higher team, Heaven’s All-Star League.

 

Though his talent captured the country’s heart, that’s not where his story begins.

 

Teyon was born November 4, 1967. His quiet personality would soothe you, but his infectious smile and humor would win your heart. He had a knack for ensuring everyone always felt safe and welcome in the crowd, a trait born in his family unit, where he was always protective of his siblings. Despite not being the oldest, he was the one to run to when a situation needed a cool head.

 

His talent for building team, trust, and camaraderie, learned in his family unit, carried over to his career as an athlete.

 

Teyon was a standout basketball player at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana, where he started at point guard all four of his years there. During his senior year, he was named to the Indiana All-Star Team in 1986.

His prowess in the classroom and on the court made him one of the most recruited student-athletes in school history. After graduating from high school, Teyon went on to play for three years at the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. He finished his college career at the University of Texas.

We are raising funds to have a day of celebration for Teyan on July 15, 2023 and all those he inspired to do great works to continue to inspire others. Our goal being reached will determine how many events will be held. Prized Basketball tournament, concert, food scholarships and memorabilia/Swag in honor of our brother Teyan.
