Help with medical bills and other expenses

This fundraiser is for my friend and coworker, Ron May. We both work at a local car dealership and him being on his feet is a vital part of his job. Ron does not know a stranger. He always knows how to put a smile on your face! All around good person to know and be around. Everyone here will be missing him and doing anything we can to support him during this time.

On Saturday April 20,2024 he and his girlfriend Angel were heading home from an evening with friends and family. As Ron pulled into his driveway, he noticed a truck hanging back at the end of his drive. He got out of his car to see if the man needed assistance with directions or something else. That is when the unknown man in the red truck smashed the gas, full speed towards Ron and Angel. Smashing into Ron's 2017 Corvette; almost pinning him between the truck and car. If it weren't for Ron's quick thinking and reactions, the situation could have been much more traumatic. Many have seen the video circulating around as Ron was thrown onto the hood, where he was able to draw his firearm in self defense. The suspect had already harmed another individual moments prior to his attack on Ron and Angel. Thankfully the police were able to stop his rampage shortly after Ron wounded the suspect.

This action saved him and his family's lives. Who knows what could have happened if it weren't for Ron's quick reaction to the terrible event unfolding in a matter of 31 seconds. Ron has suffered a broken leg in two places. At the moment we are unsure when he will be able to return to work. Unfortunately at this time he does not have medical insurance. We are seeking donations to help Ron with household expenses as well as medical costs he may accumulate from this tragic incident.
