A neighbor recently passed away and left behind a colony of kitties that she was tending to. At least 14 kitties! The kitties need some vet care, to be spayed and neutered, housing, and food & water. The county will not take in the kitties, but there are resources available for low-cost spay and neuters and vaccinations.

There are multiple pregnant kitties, so there will be more kitties that will need to be spayed and neutered in a few months.

Estimated costs to spay and neuter the kitties is $150 per kitty.

Estimated vet costs is $475 per kitty. 

Food costs are about $100 a month, they like the Costco brand chicken and rice kitty food.  

Out tap water is so hard that giving the kitties that water to drink will cause more vet visits in the future, so the kitties drink the purified drinking water which is about $7.50 per case at Smart n' Final.

Once the house the kitties have been living in is sold, they will need new housing to stay safe from the elements.  Chewy has some cute ones that we know they'll like, we estimate about $375 for three to four houses.

These kitties are all available for mousing and companionship! So come on by and get yourself a new best furriend!!
