ተወዳጅ አስፋው አየለ፣ ገና በ18 ዓመቱ በእግር ኳስ እና በቴኳንዶ ችሎታው ኢትዮጵያን ያስደመመ ወጣት ነው።

ከልጅነቱ ጀምሮ በልዩ ችሎታው የታየው ይህ ኮከብ፣ በታላቁ የእግር ኳስ አሰልጣኝ ኢንስትራክተር ሰውነት ቢሻው እጅ ተኮትኩቶ ያደገ፣ በአፍሪካ ቴኳንዶ ሻምፒዮና የወርቅ ሜዳሊያ ያሸነፈ፣ በቻይና የአፍሪካ እግር ኳስ ዓለም አቀፍ ውድድር በ12 አመቱ ኢትዮጵያን የወከለ፣ በትምህርት ቤቱ በአምበልነት የተጫወተ እና የምስጋና ደብዳቤ የተበረከተለት ብሩህ ወጣት ነው።

ተወዳጅ አስፋው ቅድመ መደበኛ ትምህርቱን ቀኝ አዝማች አንዳርጌ ተምሯል ቅዱስ ዮሴፍ ትምህርት ቤት ከአንደኛ እስከ 11ኛ ክፍል የተማረ ሲሆን 12ኛ ክፍል ትምህርቱን በአሁኑ ወቅት በእንግሊዝ ሀገር Akckowrth School በመማር ላይ ይገኛል።

በተለይ በቅዱስ ዮሴፍ ትምህርት ቤት በነበረው ስምንት አመታት ቆይታ በአምበልነት የተጫወተ እና የምስጋና ደብዳቤ የተበረከተለት ብሩህ ወጣት ነው።

ይህ ወጣት ለተሻለ ትምህርት እና የእግር ኳስ ስልጠና ከእንግሊዝ ሀገር የእግር ኳስ መልማዮች ባዘጋጁት ስልጠና ባሳየው ከፍተኛ ብቃት የ50 በመቶ የስኮላርሺፕ እድል አግኝቷል።

አባቱ ልጁን ለማስተማር የነበረውን ቤትና መኪና ሸጧል። ነገር ግን የቀረውን 17,000 ፓውንድ(ከ3 ሚሊዮን የኢትዮጵያ ብር) ያላነሰ ለመክፈል አቅሙ አልፈቀደም።

ይህ ወጣት የሀገራችን የወደፊት ተስፋ ነው። ችሎታውን አዳብሮ ለዓለም አድማስ የሚበቃበትን እድል ልንሰጠው ይገባል። አባቱ ለልጁ ትልቅ መስዋዕትነት ከፍሏል። አሁን የእኛ ተራ ነው።

A gifted young Ethiopian footballer, Tewedaj Asfaw whose father Asfaw Ayele has sold his car and house to support his education and football career in England, is now at risk of dropping out due to financial struggles. Since childhood Tewedaj's talent has been identified by his father, and other soccer experts that he could be a soccer superstar one day.

While he was pursuing his study at the famous St. Josef School where he studied from grade 1 to 11 he had the opportunity to play for the school team, being the team's captain, and exhibited his remarkable talent with bringing up a trophy for the school.

Ethiopian popular football coach, Sewnet Bishaw is the leading football expert who had trained Tewedaj in his young talent development academy, where Tewedaj was later chosen by foreign football professionals. As a result, he was awarded a-50 percent scholarship at the Akckowrth School, England.
