Help Tevie Rodnunsky fight brain cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m asking for your support for the Rodnunsky family during an incredibly difficult time.

On Friday, July 25, 2025 — just five days after celebrating his 49th birthday — Tevie suddenly collapsed at work and fell into a seizure. He was rushed to the hospital, where tests revealed a shocking diagnosis: a tumor on the right side of his brain.

His devoted partner, Emma, rushed to be by his side as the doctors prepared arrangements for surgery. On July 29, after his surgery, they confirmed the worst — it was cancer. The surgeon advised that they were only able to remove part of the tumor due to the swelling in his brain and the risks involved; the biopsy results are still pending, however, they believe it to be of a higher-grade.

This news has devastated everyone who loves Tevie — especially Emma, their children, and their soon-to-arrive baby girl. Tevie is the cornerstone of their family: a loving husband, a caring father, and the sole provider for their household. Emma has dedicated herself to raising their children — Dayton, Hudsyn, Summer, Scarlett, Kanon, Beckham — and now, their newest little one.

Tevie’s diagnosis means an uncertain and challenging journey ahead. He will need to take extended time off work for treatment and recovery. Unfortunately, Emma will not qualify for maternity leave as shes been a stay-at-home mother, and their medical benefits and EI will fall far short of covering their basic needs during this difficult period.

Tevie is well known throughout the Edmonton hospitality community for his dedication, charisma, and unwavering work ethic. He’s not just a talented hospitality professional — he’s a generous, kind-hearted man who’s always been there for others, and is truly a family man. Now, we have the chance to support and be there as a community for him and his family.

We’re asking for your help. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward medical expenses, living costs, and supporting this beautiful family as they face the unknown. Your kindness will help them focus on what truly matters: healing, hope, and being together. No matter how long it takes.

Please consider donating to support Tevie, Emma, their children, and their very soon-to-be, baby girl. Your generosity means the world to them during this unimaginable time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
