Tevan’s Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Meet my cousin Tevan. I know he looks all grown, but he’s only 24. He’s dealt with his share of struggles in life, but here recently it seems like his struggles are excessive. Tevan recently fell off of a second-story roof while working. Since he is a contractor with his own workers, although he has compensation and general liability insurance…his own injuries are NOT COVERED by his insurance. Tevan has fractured multiple vertebrae in his spine (T-6 through T-11) and is going through a long, difficult, and grueling recovery in order just to do basic movements like walking. Don’t get me wrong, we are thankful and very blessed that he is able to walk. The injuries from his fall could be far worse. But…Tevan is the sole provider for himself, his girlfriend, and her young daughter. With him now requiring time to heal and months of physical therapy, Tevan is incapable of bringing in an income for their family. He is in excessive pain, but his biggest fear is not being able to afford his bills and provide stability for his family in the upcoming months…. Medical bills, possible surgery to repair the vertebrae, rent, utilities, car payment, food for their family, etc. If you can find it in your hearts to help donate for his family until they can get back on their feet again….it would be much appreciated and would be a huge burden relieved off of my cousin while he slowly makes his recovery just to walk again much less work (manual labor). We all have hit hard times, but every bit of help is so incredibly generous for a family who is helpless by no fault of their own. Thank you so much for anything you’re willing to do. If you’re unable to help monetarily, please send positive thoughts and prayers for Tevan and his family as this fall has challenged him with relearning almost all basic movement with his body and challenged family and friends with making the transition into this chapter of his life as smooth as possible! Thank you, and God bless!
