Family & Friends -
We celebrate a life that has passed on too soon, Teu Lo (Xaiv Rwg Lauj) - a husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend. On February 22, 2021 Teu Lo passed on and is remembered by his wife, Pa Houa, and 4 children Eric, Eliya, Joseph and Lovely. He was 57 years old.
***
In 1992, Teu and Pa Houa married and left Stockton, CA to start a new beginning in Hickory, NC. They started a family, bought a house and called NC their home. Teu & Pa Houa were hardworking parents who alternated shifts in order to provide for their family. They are active members of the First Hmong Alliance Church. Teu loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing on his spare time.
Teu has graciously survived both a heart attack and heart failure in 2016. In 2020, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and began chemo treatment. Many friends & family members sent prayers and his healthcare professionals provided the best care possible. God provided the family with more time to spend with Teu and he made many more memories. Throughout these past years he was able to see his daughter Eliya marry Peter Chang. His son Eric married Ruth Cha. The Lo family is growing and both Teu and Pa Houa are very proud parents.
In January 2021, what we all feared became reality as Covid came across the Lo Family. Being the most at risk, Teu took it the worse and was hospitalized so he would be closely monitored due to his underlying health conditions. He continued to fight, but his body was failing him. Through all the battles Teu has been through, unfortunately this one had to be his last. On the morning of Feb 22, Pa Houa and the children visited their father to say their last words. He was very weak but he knew they were there. He took his last breath with his wife by his side. We have a bit of joy to know that he was not alone as many Covid patients were not able to do the same, but our hearts are heavy as we mourn our loss.
We will cherish his smiles, his laughs, his kindness and humbleness. We will remember how dearly he loved his wife. He raised 4 wonderful children, and their actions and wisdom are a reflection of their father. Our hearts are heavy, and nothing can make things easy again. But we hope, we hope that one day we will meet again. We pray that the Lord will help us understand and recover from this pain that have hurt so many.
The Lo Family has gone through a lot during the last few months with recovery and the passing of their Father. We appreciate your support and contribution during these difficult times. All funds will go towards funeral expenses.
We thank you for your support.
