My name is Lhorie Ramilo Manas, and my daughters Karean and Margareth, my cousin Fae Ramilo Rodriguez-Loberiza, and Lanie's Sister-in-law, Ivy Flores, have decided to create this fundraising campaign to help Lanie Fight Leukemia.

Our beloved Maria Lanisa “Ate Lanie” Ramilo-Flores has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a serious type of blood cancer. Her journey began when her OB found low hemoglobin during a check-up, leading to further tests and eventually a confirmed diagnosis after a bone marrow test on August 1.

Her doctors at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) have recommended an immediate treatment plan of chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. Ate Lanie has already been admitted, and after receiving blood transfusions to stabilize her condition, she will begin her first round of chemotherapy tomorrow.

The cost of treatment, hospitalization, and transplant is overwhelming for her family. Ate Lanie is a loving wife to Kuya Floyd and a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. Despite the challenges she faces each day, she does it with courage and faith.
