What is Tether

Tether is a senior capstone TV Pilot concept created by Seniors at Lipscomb university. It is a modern Noir film that follows a paranormal investigator. But at its core, its a film about letting go, a message that we believe is greatly important in our modern existence.

The Logline

"A Paranormal Investigator takes a case to investigate a haunting at Moore Manor. What he discovers is horrifying - a ghost draining the lives of the household through a human tether. To save the manor, he must face his inner demons - the ghost of his own past."

The Team

Tether is a passion project and capstone of three Senior Film majors at Lipscomb.

Justice Skinner (The Director)

Justice Skinner is the story creator of Tether, and has enjoyed building this incredible world for you. Justice Skinner has freelanced for HBO and Peacock as well as competed on the global scale, writing the U.S winner for the 48 Hour Global Film Challenge.

Tyler Skrove (The Cinematographer)

Tyler has been DPing for over 7 years, with several capstones under his belt. In addition to Cinematography, Tyler Skrove is also going to be scoring the film. He is going to make sure our film is visually stunning while staying faithful to the modern Noir genre.

Nathan Bush (The Producer)

Nathan has Produced or assistant directed a plethora of projects during his film career including another senior capstone, as well as a grad thesis. He is excited to utilize his technical expertise to tackle such an ambitious project.

Ellie Donlin (The Producer )

Ellie after starting her internship at Paramount discovered a love for producing. She has worked with CMT, MTV and Fresh Out Live. Handling a lot of the backroom paperwork and logistics, when Ellie is on the team, be sure it will get done.

Jadyn Heinrichs (The Marketing Manager)

Jadyn is the head of social media and marketing strategy. She is so excited to see the vision unfold.

Evan Johnston (The Co-Writer )

Evan has and continues to be an amazing asset on the team. Helping take a lot of Justices vision and putting it on paper as well as ejecting his own, Evan is a major part of the creative process.
