Tet's getting TOP SURGERY!

HI! I am getting top surgery in June! I am beyond excited for this surgery. I am a 31 year old, A-gender human that is starting nursing school this fall. I am excited to start this next chapter. I get to start nursing school with a body that brings me more peace, confidence and a FLAT CHEST! My medical and life experience as a trans/nonbinary human has influenced my desire to become a Nurse Midwife that specializes in trans/nonbinary care. I believe that we need more diverse providers and I can't wait to become one. I know I have a lot ahead of me but I am beyond excited to start it with this procedure.

A lot of humans do not realize how trans and nonbinary medical care does save lives. It also brings us self peace and more self love. To be in a body that reflects how you identify and feel is such a privelege-a lot cisgender folks don't understand that.

I have been on a waiting list for top surgery for almost two years and now my time has come! I am an extremely independent and private person-but I realized that I need help and my community to raise money for out of pocket expenses for this surgery. This amount will go towards medical expenses, post surgery medical supplies that are needed for care and healing. It will also help bridge the gap while not being able to work for two months.
