Testing and Treatment for Lexi
Donation protected

Hi! I have pictures of my baby Lexi here. My family and I adopted Lexi from a rescue shelter after she was found stray as a puppy. She was at the adoption center for about 7 months. When we adopted her, she was almost 2 years old. She is a very sweet and energetic friend with lots of love to give. She is now 6, almost 7. For almost 18 months now, she has been suffering from head-to-toe yeast infections. This causes her to be very itchy, twitchy, and severely uncomfortable, and we have to keep the inflatable cone, along with some very fashionable shirts, on her or she will scratch until she bleeds.
We have brought her to the vet for multiple tests and attempts with different medications, costing over $9,000 per year. The vet and dermatologist have had a hard time determining what is the cause of the problem, as the yeast keeps producing because of an unknown underlying problem. They would like to perform another test on her, but it is very expensive, and we are unsure if we can fund this one on our own.
I am asking for your help to provide relief funds to assist us in paying for the next tests/upcoming medications. As of right now, her medication is $400 a month. She is a very happy-go-lucky dog that isn't ready to give up yet, and we don't want to give up on her! We just need some help as soon as we can get it. Thank you!
Below, I have some photos of how she looked before she became ill.
