I brought in a stray cat I saw across the street from my bedroom window because I could not leave him there in the condition he was in. His name is Mr. Noodle, and when I saw him, he was in terrible shape. He is very malnourished, has bald patches and sores, and may also have worms. I do not normally take strays in, but this time I knew I could not send him back outside.

It has been really hard to see Mr. Noodle like this. I have never seen a cat in person this bad, and with all the local shelters full, I felt like I had to do what I could for him. I only put food out when cats stop by, and I have a couple of regulars, but Mr. Noodle's condition felt different and urgent.

The first thing the funds will help pay for is testing for distemper or feline leukemia. I need answers about what he is facing so I can know what comes next. If he has distemper or feline leukemia, euthanasia may unfortunately be the next step. If not, he still needs care for his condition and help getting stabilized after being outside in such poor health. He is currently getting medicated baths to help with the sores or possible ringworm.
