Testicular Cancer Round 2

Donation protected

Hey Family & Friends. I hate to be on here asking for help. Anybody who knows me can certify that taking care of my family and friends has been and always will be what I'm all about. Back on November 6th, I was diagnosed with Testicular cancer again when a large mass formed in my neck restricting blood flow to my brain causing me to get admitted into ICU. After days of testing, a team of doctors found multiple lymph node masses that may require surgery at a later time. I was informed by an oncologist that multiple aggressive cycles of chemo were required asap to shrink masses throughout my body.

I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't terrified of the road I had ahead of me. to make matters a bit more stressful I currently have no medical insurance. i am awaiting approval from Medicaid but we all know how that goes.
I started my 1st cycle of chemo on December 5th. Never in my wildest dreams would I have predicted just how draining and painful these treatments truly are. I've been hesitant about being this transparent and letting everybody know what is going on. Against everybody's advice, i did attempt to go back to work in between chemo cycles. I realized right away I was not going to be able to provide for my family yet alone pay for all these medical bills

On Friday December 16th the oncologist reviewed my bloodwork following 1st cycle of chemo. he informed me to get to hospital Immediately since I was running a high fever and my white blood cell count was pretty much nonexistent making my body unable to fight off an infection.

December 18th and I'm still in the hospital but they plan to send me home tomorrow if the white blood cell count continues to climb today. I have 1 more week of rest before I begin my 2nd chemo cycle. doctors have informed me that I need to take this more seriously and give my body a chance to recover this time. I was out of my mind attempting to work and remain such an integral part of my kids day to day life.

I have never been the best at asking for help but I don't know what else to do at this point. thank you for taking time to read this and support me !
