Help the Flying Dutchman Sail to World Robotics Championship
Donation protected
We are The Flying Dutchman, a youth competitive robotics team based in the Netherlands. Our team comprises passionate young engineers from around the world, and we are ready to travel to Houston for the World Championships for this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), an international robotics competition, as team #23014. We’ve come a long way since last year (and our first year!), and with 2 of the most prestigious awards, the Inspire award, and 2 winning alliances from our 2 events, and with more ambition than ever, we’re ready to take things to the next level at the World Robotics Championships,
… but we need your help.
Robotics Matters
“We’re supposed to meet twice a week, but we actually meet up every day after school. It’s just a lot of fun, especially the collaboration to solve a problem … it doesn’t get any better than that.” - Jurgen, Team Captain.
Our team comprises 16 passionate and dedicated members who see robotics as more than just a hobby and aspire to step forward in STEM fields. We see this experience as an opportunity for a brighter and innovative future. Even our newer members strive to learn more about robotics and STEM.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic World Robotics Championships, and your contribution would greatly benefit our team and help make our dreams come true. We greatly appreciate any support you are willing to provide for our team. Thank you so much for your consideration!
