I'm an astrologer with 30+ years of practice, and I'm trying to do something the field rarely does: submit my work to peer-reviewed scientific testing.
There are two core scientific complaints against astrology: its claims are usually too vague to test, and when specific effects do appear, they tend to vanish under proper controls.
Both are fair, and they're my complaints too.
So in 2025, I rebuilt astrology from real astronomical measurements, first principles, and specific structural rigor. I called the result Astrognostics. The study I'm running is designed to face both complaints — making a specific testable claim, and testing it rigorously enough to survive the methodology question.
For its first formal scientific study, I'm testing one specific claim: that the Saturn-Neptune cycle correlates with patterns in recorded human history. If the correlation is statistically significant, that's evidence the foundation holds. If it isn't, it isn't. I've committed to publishing the results either way, in the Journal of Scientific Exploration.
I'm asking for help raising $300. $235 covers the journal's article processing fee on acceptance plus society membership. The rest is a small cushion.
This GoFundMe is also an invitation. If you want to see astrology actually tested — not defended and not dismissed — I'd love your help putting it in front of scientists who can do that.
About me: I trained in the lineage of Dane Rudhyar, Jeffrey Wolf Green, and the astrologers who founded NORWAC. I've pressure-tested Astrognostics against professional astrologers and my own lived experience. This study is the first time it gets pressure-tested by science.
