To those of us lucky enough to have known her, Tessa brought joy and strength in the purest form - never wavering throughout her year-long battle with a rare cancer.  Her family and friends wish to honor her gift by creating a place where she will continue to inspire us to be joyful and strong no matter how life challenges us.    

Tessa loved water and added tremendous spirit to the Los Gatos High School Water Polo and Swim teams.    It is there, outside the LGHS pool deck, where a beautiful mosaic "Tessa Joy" bench is being created by artist Marsha Rafter.     As the work-in-progress shows below, this bench will be cheerful and uplifting, bringing smiles in her memory.


To those of you touched by Tessa, we would be grateful for donations to help offset the cost of this intensive labor of  love.    Every penny will go directly towards the bench's cost.    No contribution is too small !
