Tessa's wheelchair fundraiser

Tessa is a 5 year old happy , energetic loving little girl. At 17 months old she was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Smith Magenis Syndrome. This neuro behavioural disorder effects her in many ways. We are currently in the process of getting her a wheelchair. After applying for all funding we could we are still left with a cost of $1500.00 to come up with in the next 4 months.  This is just one cost of many medical items she requires which makes it so difficult.

She so desperately needs this wheelchair. She has low muscle tone and neuropathy so can not walk long distances. Her safety is a huge risk as she has no awareness for danger. She has asthma and was just diagnosed with juvenile scoliosis so it's important to have a chair fitted for her to position her spine properly. 

Tessa goes through a lot. We can not take her anywhere without a chair. Now that she has scoliosis we will be going to McMasters in Hamilton for frequent appointments to see her pediatric orthopedic surgeon. We have no idea what the future holds but this will so greatly improve her mobility. 

Any help is greatly appreciated from a special needs momma who would do anything for her little girl.
