My cousin, Tessa, was in a horrible snowboarding accident on Friday, 1/12. She works up at Snowbowl in Flagstaff, AZ, was on break snowboarding and hit a dirt patch that sent her flying face first into rocks. She is in rough shape - shattered jaw, broken teeth, face lacerations that will require reconstruction and a fractured vertebrae. She had to be placed into an induced coma in ICU yesterday because her airway was swollen and they had to put in a intubation respirator to help her breath. Horrible, she is just out of college and does not have the funds/insurance necessary to cover the large medical bills headed her way. I set this up in hopes of getting her a little support to recover with. My aunt is packing her up to move her up to Idaho with her.
