Hey everyone!
Donald Trump has said that on day one of his second term, he will ban transgender healthcare for people of all ages. Trump's hateful rhetoric toward trans and queer people will make the lives of me and many other people extremely dangerous for the foreseeable future.
This is extremely terrifying, and I need help.
My name is Tess, I am a 22-year-old trans woman. I am about two years into my transition.
The past two years has been incredibly liberating to live as the person I am. However, this hasn’t come without its struggles.
With the rising cost of healthcare (and everything else), being trans is incredibly expensive. The donations would help me massively, and go towards:
- Getting my legal name and gender marker changed.
- Laser hair removal and/or electrolysis.
- Speech therapy and voice training.
- Continuing to pay for my HRT medication, and stocking up in case of a national ban.
- An emergency fund.
