Hi, my name is Tess and I’m fundraising for a once in a lifetime expedition to Costa Rica in 2027. This Camps International trip will last for 4 weeks and during that time I will be helping out on multiple conservation and community projects. Costa Rica is one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems in the world but faces challenges such as habitat destruction and pollution. So, I am excited to go on this trip and work on projects that include:

I hope my contribution to these projects will have a long-lasting impact on Costa Rica - its environment and its people. I certainly think it will have a huge impact on me and will challenge me to develop skills such as independence, confidence and teamwork. It will also be a great opportunity to make new friends, find out more about different cultures and discover more about myself.

I need to fundraise £5.5k for this trip and will be doing lots of sponsored activities (runs, triathlons, bake sales, hikes etc.) to reach my target.
