Tesla's electric battle with tumors

Donation protected
Greetings! My name is Tracie, and I've been persuaded to ask for help. We (my husband and I) have a little dog named Tesla. I've had her since she was 8 weeks old and she is now 14. She is the light of our life and is so very important to us.

This past Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, she had a bout of what we thought was diarrhea from eating some wet food. Unfortunately, it continued on through thanksgiving. By Friday I had gotten some anti diarrhea meds that seemed to be helping but I took her out 3am on Saturday morning and it continued to be just.... Awful. So I made a vet appointment. We didn't have the money for blood tests like they wanted so we basically treated the diarrhea, gave her easily digestible food and some probiotics. We couldn't really tell if it was helping. Through out this whole time she was eating drinking, running around and acting normal. Thinking she was getting over it I left for work on Monday, on the way I received a call from my husband that Tesla had started seizing. Terrified I immediately turned around and as soon as I got home I texted out vet. We rushed her in, and after some tears and phone calls we got X-rays done.

This was the terrifying part. We were told that she had a very large mass on her spleen. Something I hadn't mentioned was her extreme weight loss and muscle loss. She was only 15 pounds (down from 20) on Saturday, by Monday she was already 14.5. the vet gave us our options, without surgery she maybe had a week to a month left with as quickly as she was losing mass. The surgery would cost about $3000, not including what we had just gotten done.

Thankfully, we were able to get scratch pay, a loan to cover the cost of the visit so we could save our baby. It may still be cancer, but the mass has been removed. It was two tumors, one was two pounds. She seems to be recovering incredibly well which is absolutely amazing.

Now here's where we need some help. The cost of the loan will be about $400 a month and at this very moment, we cannot afford that. We also don't know if she'll need more treatment once the analysis of the tumors comes through. Any amount will help us. She is the princess of this castle. She has so much life and will to live that there was no question in saving her, but we could really use some help if anyone can.

If we reach the goal and can pay off the loan, then every extra bit will go towards more care for her and her brother Donut, who has also been absolutely amazing with her.

I appreciate anything you can do, whether it's just sharing or donating a dollar. I am grateful for anything. I understand the timing isn't great with the holidays coming up, but I'm at a loss of what else we can do.
