Terry's Reverse Shoulder Replacement Surgery
Donation protected
My dad is the most hardworking man I know. Since he was 17, he's been a carpenter and a great one at that. Unfortunately, his years of hard work have caught up to his nearly 62-year-old body. On October 21, he has to have reverse shoulder replacement surgery ("a type of shoulder replacement in which the normal ball and socket relationship of glenohumeral joint is reversed, creating a more stable joint with a fixed fulcrum"). As a result, dad will be out of work for three months to recover.
I'm inviting anyone who knows my parents to consider supporting them financially as they prepare for my dad to be out of work. They didn't ask me to do this. In fact, my dad doesn't have social media and still uses a flip phone, so he's never even heard of Gofundme. But I want them to be SO BLESSED by an outpouring of love and support from family, friends, people who my dad has worked on their homes, and even strangers. I thank you for whatever amount you can give to help my parents...some of the most generous people I know who taught me to be generous.
I love you, Dad!
(I snagged this pic of him at Home Depot a week ago when he came to Nashville to help us get our house ready to sell...just 3 weeks before his surgery. That's the kind of man he is).
