Terry's Journey: Cancer and Hope
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Terry Thomas, I’m 47 years old and the proud father of two incredible kids who mean the world to me. A few years ago, we lost their mother in a tragic car accident, and since then, I’ve been their only support, their only guide, their only safe place.
Recently, I started experiencing pain and other symptoms that I initially ignored because I was so focused on taking care of them. But as things got worse, I went to the doctor and received news I never imagined: I have advanced prostate cancer.
The diagnosis hit me hard not just because of what it means for me, but because I’m terrified of what could happen to my children if I’m not around. They only have me. We don’t have close family who can step in, and my ability to work has become very limited.
I now face a long and difficult journey of treatments, chemotherapy, and possibly surgery. The costs are overwhelming, and on top of that, I need to ensure that my kids are taken care of throughout this process.
So today, I’m reaching out with an open heart and humbly asking for help whether financial support or prayers. Any act of kindness means the world to us. This isn’t easy to share, but I’m doing it for them. They deserve to have their dad fighting with everything he’s got.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping in any way you can. God bless you.
