I want you to meet my father Terry Scott Withem- amazing father of two, Maegan Withem and Brendan Withem, step father of two, Breanna Register and Nathan Cross, grandfather to seven grandchildren , and friend to many. On December 20th, 2023 Scott was heading home from work when my younger brother, Brendan, noticed something was off; he acted quickly and took our father to UF Health Flagler Hospital. The very next day Scott underwent a craniotomy removing a tumor on the left parietal lobe of his brain. In January of 2024 we received the unbearable pathology report, Scott was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. This is a very aggressive form of brain cancer, high-grade astrocytoma that has no known cure. This diagnosis was completely unexpected, devastating, and has significantly impacted our family life, to say the least.

Starting, February 19, 2024, Scott will be undergoing radiation treatment Monday-Friday for 6 weeks in St.Augustine, FL and chemotherapy for approximately a year. Weekly lab work, appointments with several physicians, follow up MRI scans.
