Terry & JoAnn Medical Housing Support Fund

My sister, Teresa Wilkens, was recently diagnosed with cancer of the mouth and had to be admitted to Virginia Mason in Seattle as the medical services needed weren't available in Alaska. To be there for Terry during this very trying time and act as her voice with the hospital staff, my sister JoAnn took time off from work without pay to accompany Terry. Initially, the doctor expected the stay to last for a week to ten days. Unfortunately, the surgeries have not been as successful as the doctors had hoped. Terry has now undergone eight surgeries, and her stay has been extended to at least a month. Due to COVID-19, there is no family housing available at the hospital. The cost of hotels and transportation has exhausted the funds JoAnn had available to cover her stay. This fundraiser is being set up to seek help with JoAnn's housing and transportation costs in Seattle and housing costs in Alaska while she is away. All donations and prayers are greatly appreciated.
