Friends and Family,
My parents would never reach out or ask anyone for help, but on behalf of siblings and myself we need to during a challenging time. My dad underwent a 13 hour emergency surgery for an aorta dissection on Thursday night and is now hospitalized at Northwestern in Chicago. He will continue to be here for a minimum of two weeks at this time and the road to recovery is going to be a long one. My mom will need to be staying in Chicago for the duration and need assistance with room and board expenses (meals, parking, etc.)
If anyone is able to offer support, whether it's financial or simply sharing this message, it would be incredibly meaningful to us. Your kindness during this difficult period would make a world of difference.
