Long- time Horizon Christian Academy Coach, Teacher, and Mentor, Terry Rylant, has recently been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia.  Sadly, there is no cure.  Lewy Body Dementia is a complex and challenging brain disorder.  It affects many parts of the brain, and eventually makes everyday tasks impossible.  Lewy Body Dementia affects 1 million people in the United States.
Terry has been such a gift to the young men and women he has trained and mentored over the years.  He has laughed, cried, and prayed  with many a young person, loving them as only a father can.
While we have no idea how this is going to play out, we do know we serve a great big God, whose love knows no bounds.   We want to show the Rylant family that same love.  Please join us in supporting his wife Imelda, and daughters Rebekah and Rachel during this very difficult time.    There are bills to pay, and we want to make sure this is the least of the family’s concerns.  Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated.  Please cover this family in prayer as they move thru this journey, trusting that God has a plan.
