Hello. My name is Paul Ruiz. I am the youngest son of my mother Terry, who passed away on 3/26/24. I must be honest that even as I am writing these words I can't believe it is true. This doesn't feel real. My mother was an absolute gem of a woman who was fearless, yet so fragile. She was so beautiful and loving and I am grateful she had a daughter in my wife and our beautiful daughters got to be held by her. I can keep going on about my mother.

I know the picture I chose is dark, but it was a time I took my mom on a surprise trip to Disneyland, and in this picture I love how she is staring and looking like her heart was full.

I am trying to raise funds to help my father celebrate my mother's life, hold a beautiful memorial, and provide some financial peace for a bit as he now faces certain parts of his life without my mom.

It is my hope that my dad can use the money raised to give my mother everything she deserves to be celebrated with.

I know these times are hard on everyone financially, but anything you can give will mean so much to my dad.

I am used to asking for donations to help send me to Haiti for missions trips, but it never crossed my mind that I would soon be doing this for the passing of my mommy. Needless to say this is hard to even ask anyone of this.
