Terry has been suffering with medical issues since 2008. He has been in and out of the hospital numerous times. More recently, Terry has been diagnosed with MGRS or Monoclonal Gammopathy of Renal concern. Which is damaging his one good kidney. After seeing multiple doctors locally and  from U of M, several tests were completed, and Terry is now receiving weekly chemotherapy to try to wipe out the disease in his blood.
Meanwhile, medical bills have been accumulating at a fast rate while he has seen specialist after specialist to try and determine exactly what the diagnosis is. More recently Terry spent a week in ICU at St. Mary's with bi-lateral pneumococcal pneumonia with sepsis. Seeing another host of doctors and doing many follow up visits, which resulted in even more bills.
