Terry Roberson (Ecmo Ranger Out)

2020 has been a year like no other. For our nephew, Terry Roberson this is especially true. Terry, a healthy man with a beautiful wife and three wonderful children had just celebrated his daughter getting engaged when tragedy struck. Terry was diagnosed with COVID.

On October 1st, Terry was admitted to the COVID floor of the hospital. October 7th, Terry took a turn for the worse and had to be intubated after struggling to breathe with 100% oxygen and a BIPAP. Three days later, his family received a call from the doctor telling them that Terry would not make it with intubation alone, he would need to be started on the ECMO machine to allow his lungs to rest.

This news terrified his family, but their faith was in GOD to be in control. Three days later, Terry had the intubation tube removed after surprising his doctor with his progress. But COVID had other ideas for Terry’s body. Two days later, Terry had to be reintubated after struggling to breathe.

By that afternoon, Terry was in right sided heart failure and kidney failure. This setback forced Terry to be on continuous dialysis and a new ECMO machine that bypassed his right ventricle to give his heart a break. The vent was removed two days later. Terry has not been able to get any good rest since all this began, due to this His oxygen levels have been low and his hemoglobin levels are also low. The ECMO machine is completely working for his lungs and heart to send oxygen to the body.

Terry Roberson is very sick with this horrible disease COVID. He will remain in the ICU for as long as he is on the ECMO machine. This could be weeks or months.

Terry Roberson has always been the first person to help anyone in need. He is a hardworking, Godly Man who has been struck down with this terrifying COVID virus. It is now our time to help Terry and his family out while he is fighting for his life. Terry could be in in ICU for weeks or even months.

Terry needs our help. His medical expenses and loss of income while he is in the hospital is putting his family in a financial bind. The last thing they need to worry about is bills. All of their time and energy needs to be focused on Terry and his recovery.
