Yesterday, Terry Karr Walker, a very close person to me, went on to be with our Lord. She had such an impact in my life through many roles from mother, to friend and now sister in Christ. Following is an account from the family of who she was and will forever be to those that loved her just as I.
Terry was born with only one kidney. For years she battled complications of diabetes and kidney disease and on Friday November 9 she left us for a more comfortable place with Jesus Christ. She was 60.
Terry was “Momma” to many. She loved taking in stray animals and kids. She was loving, caring and had a great sense of humor. She will be fondly remembered for her sass, stubbornness and giving people nicknames. These are the qualities that made Terry, Terry.
I am asking to please consider helping her family with cremation and a memorial that she deserves. Unfortunately, covering the expense of life insurance is impossible when solely living on social security as Terry did. As well, please lift her family up in prayer during this time.
